Gunnison County Health and Human Services has a grant to help cover up to $900 of your housing costs. Call DHHS at 970-641-3244 for more information on how to apply

Glenwood Springs: Glenwood Springs High School

Marble Community Church Food and Masks

 

The church is providing masks and/or groceries if anyone in the community needs such for the next few weeks.


All you have to do is call the church (963-1464) and they will make sure you receive such.

Additionally, if anyone would like to donate non-perishable items, ie can food, paper products etc. they can drop the items off at the fellowship hall (no need to call ahead, the door will be unlocked during daylight hours). And, please drop off only good (non-expired) products.

Lift Up Donations Needed:

New reusable grocery bags and boxes are needed for food distribution. Does your business have bags that you can donate? Seconds, mis-prints – all are needed.

Non-parishable food items also needed. (NO GLASS at this time please.)


Donations can be dropped off at any food pick up location/time.


Lift Up Volunteers Needed:


VOLUNTEER SIGN UP REQUIRED

To volunteer at one of the drive-thru pantries, you MUST call the Garfield County volunteer clearinghouse at 970.456.2804 to register prior to going to the site. If your desired site is full, your name and contact information will be placed on a list. It is important for everyone to continue to maintain social distancing practices so we can only allow the required number of volunteers.

State of Colorado Programs and Benefits


The State of Colorado has compiled a list of their different programs for those needing financial assistance. 


You can also call 2-1-1 for information and referral to community and social services, such as ESL classes, financial assistance programs, health clinics, or counselling services. 211 is free, confidential, multilingual and available 24-hours a day.
